"Ohayo meets my two requirements in a soap - fragrance that stays on for a long period is one and, the other is the purity of soap.

Bonus is the appearance of the soap; it is an artwork by itself.

The soap doesn't melt away. And the skin is happy too.

Also, these are amazing gifts to give away."

"I was gifted Ohayo soaps by a friend of mine and totally love it.

I also like that it doesn't melt fast like most soaps.

And retains its fragrance etc till the very end. “

"I am not much of a soap user, preferring practical liquid soaps to solid ones, but Ohayo feels special, almost like a treat to pamper myself with.

I am honestly surprised I haven't yet given into the temptation to actually eat the soaps, it's that yummy looking.

I must confess I have picked up Ohayo with the intention of gifting them to people but have ended up using them myself!"

Lavender and the Purple Rain are my personal favorites. Pina Colada is reserved for days I need a pick me up.

I'm so glad a friend introduced me to Ohayo. Handmade, pure ingredients, pure joy."

"Ohayo's color makes me envious of the artist who created the themes . I could practically pick Pastel, Mediterranean or Tropical swatches from the variety Abitha offers.

I discovered what connects my being are the ocean, the forest floor and the damp clouds on a trek. I pick Ohayo much as I pick my next trek!"

"Ohayo soaps. Reasons why for me.

a) A riot of color. Some are like delicately layered agates, others like otherworldly marbles, others like frozen cross-sections of mountain lakes..

b) After you use one of these soaps, you’ll walk out of the bath feeling like there’s a neon sign above your head flashing 'SUPER FRESH.'

c) These aren’t harsh tough-love kind of soaps. They’re kind and gentle to your skin.

P.S. Mystic Messenger! Just saying ..."

"Ohayo Olive oil bars!  Period!  Spending 3-4 months in the harsh weather of Delhi every year, my skin would go for a toss!

These olive oil bars came to the ultimate rescue!  Can't and won't use anything else now!

I wish everyone who cared about their skin in Delhi at least would order from Ohayo!"

"I had switched to shower gels and liquid soaps long ago, but Ohayo has brought me back to using good old soap.

Love how they smell and love how they don't dry out my skin.

I'm yet to settle on regular fragrance because I seem to fall in love with every new bar I see."

"I'm fickle with my soap.

Saying we are hooked to Ohayo would be an exaggeration. I know, however, of Ohayo clients who are that way.

But every couple of months, I find myself booking my next consignment from Ohayo and feeling at peace.

Everyone likes it, I've done a wee bit of gifting with too, and overall, baths with Ohayo are just, well, so much more satisfying.

But don't go by what I'm saying. You discover it yourself."

“A little less noise, please”, he said and then lazily strolls towards the music room.

But just before he pushes the bare white door open, he decides to be done with the restroom one last time.

He takes a deep breath, pushes down on the handle, and stares.

The artful, long form sketch on the wall, the pale green paint still reflecting light and all the hidden thoughts through the many years.

Never gets old, he thinks and smiles. Who wouldn’t want to use a soap called Dragon's Blood?"

"A shower is often the only time I get to myself at all in the day.

I honestly used to think I really needed mass produced soaps with added moisturiser but that's definitely not the case.

The soaps travel well and dry quick. So I get to carry a bit of home wherever I go and start my day with familiarity.

It's like starting the day (or ending it, or both on sultry days in Madras) with a check in from a friend."

Visesh k

is a game producer by day and seeker of terrible videos on YouTube by night. He is mostly grumpy and responds almost always in mono syllables except with his 6 year old daughter who is a unicorn princess.

"It's either that I grew up with dogs or I may be one, smell is everything for me. There are good smells and then there are the rest.  For the love of good smell I may have pushed some spaces and people far far away from myself.Having successfully done that, I could now focus on smelling good myself.

As a kid, on a 14 inch black and white TV, I saw a macho man, on a horse, in a beach, bathing with a green brick ( he bathed by himself, the horse didn't bathe with him). That was it, my brain told me, use the soap, you will not only smell good, you will become that guy when you grow up.

That's the only soap I have used all my life, until Abitha decided to make soaps. We went through the usual process:

A: Dei, I'am making soaps!
Me: Awesome, good for you!
A: idiot, I am sending you some, try it out.
Me: Sure!
A: Let me know how it is.
Me: Sure!

Honestly, I didn't use the soaps, green brick macho is the dream. Nothing else will do. But my bag smelt like a dream, my laptop, charger, everything in the bag, even year old printouts of tickets. I still wouldn't budge.

I was in Chennai recently helping my parents move, Abitha lives nearby too. I visited her and that house and every room and every corner of the house had so many smells, fantastic ones, if you are into smells, you will know the trip.

That was it, I bought some soaps, Abitha explained about each one in detail, I was already tripping on the smell, nothing registered.  I had no idea what was what, the only thing I knew was they all smell great.

Now, everyone at home uses these colorful, oddly sized cubes, we sometimes cut them to smaller sizes, sometimes we don't. The house smells great, we feel awesome when we bathe, there is genuine happiness and of course a great smelling home. It's brought back something, don't know what, but something."

is a storyteller and animal welfare worker who lives in Bangalore.

"I've surrounded myself with a multitude of dogs, so I'm often outdoors, sweaty, and covered in fur. My day job revolves around large numbers of people who smell alarmingly human. Baths, several of them, are the kind of drudgery I could do without.

Ohayo by Abitha has spoiled me. There was a time I'd go out and buy the first vegetarian or vegan soap I found. Now, I'm a slave to Ohayo, sitting around waiting for the next parcel to arrive: the only thing that makes smelling acceptable, acceptable.

La Siene is, hands down, my favourite soap in the world. The fragrance keeps on my skin longer than most other soaps. I love that gentle waft of La Siene in an otherwise cold and lonely conference room.

Thank you, Abitha, for bringing both colour and fragrance into my life! I'm sure the humans around me are more grateful than I am."

"I have been using Abitha’s handmade soaps for a year or so.
These soaps are gentle on my skin and are very refreshing.

Particularly, wait for the lemon and orange variants, provided I win the war with my daughter as she also loves them.

I like gifting Ohayo soaps because they are made out of love and care."

"I used to be a typical money saver when it comes to basic necessities like soap. I never gave it a second thought.

I came across Ohayo as a gift both literally and figuratively. It changed my bath time scenario all together.

The often heard millennial quote "self care" started making more sense to me ever since I started using their soaps.

Haven't looked back since. My recent purchase, Love Spell literally made my mouth drool and my heart ache a little.

And I am really not being dramatic here. These guys don't mess around when it comes to smells and the art of soap making.

Go for it and you won't regret it. I didn't."

"I'm always fascinated and excited when unwrapping a bar of Abitha’s soaps. The sheer thrill of what lies waiting inside to greet me, is a pleasant feeling.

Over the months I’ve realized that my love for handmade soaps are not merely because they are a beautiful piece of art or the fact that they are vegan bars (of course all great reasons to fall in love with a product), but I’ve realized that it has reminded me on the importance of self-care!

In a very interesting way, it has helped me nurture myself more and for that I’m truly appreciative!

This has been the product of the season and I can’t stop talking about it enough, because at some level it has touched my soul! Who would have thought soap can enrich your evolutionary journey.

Well, never undermine anything I say!"

"Abitha's soap creations are magic.

So lucky to have experienced them.

Truly felt pampered and the bath time felt more of a gateway, to pause, relax, and soak in.

The soaps are so full of aroma, that I have actually kept them beside me while I am working, have sniffed on them during breaks and looked at the vibrant creations, a delight for the sore eyes that are glued to the screen and mundane things.

One of my favourite soaps has been Rhapsody on a windy night. Do get one's hands on it when it's in stock ;) "
