Black soap has been used in West Africa since time immemorial. The dark brown, soft, and cleansing substance known as "sabulun salo" is made from the ash of locally harvested African plants, cocoa pods, and dried peels, giving the soap its distinctive dark colour. Sabulun Salo is moisturizing and very gentle on your skin.
